It’s taken me a while to get my head around the fact that you are actually gone. Thank you for everything you’ve ever done for me. I’m glad I got to see you one last time while I was back in the UK. I hope you’re now reunited with mum. Going to miss you

It was a privilege and honour to count Del as our friend, he epitomised everything a great Father, Grandfather and Friend should be, such a wonderful man. The world will be a sadder place now he has gone, but a much richer place because of all the hearts he touched.
